Once again The Professional Quilter has made this one-hour teleclass recording available for purchase. In this lively discussion, you'll meet Jane Hall and Scott Murkin, both NQA certified judges from North Carolina.

Jane Hall, Judge

Jane began her quilting career teaching more than 25 years ago and was certified as a judge by the National Quilting Association in 1983. She judges four to six local guild shows each year and has judged large national and regional shows, including AQS (Paducah), NQA, Dallas Quilt Celebration, Jacksonville QuiltFest and APNQ (Association of Pacific Northwest Quilters). Jane is also an award-winning quilter whose work is held in public and private collections, including the American Quilter's Society Museum, and the author or co-author of seven books.

Scott Murkin, Quilt Judge

A quilter for more than 10 years, Scott began judging in 2001 and was certified by the National Quilting Association in 2003. He judges numerous local shows in the southeast annually and has judged large national and regional shows, including AQS (Nashville), IQA, NQA, MQX and the Dallas Quilt Celebration. An award-winning quilter, Scott also teaches quilting and exhibits his original design bed and wall quilts nationally and internationally. Scott writes the popular "On Judging" column for The Professional Quilter, and his work appears in national quilting publications on a frequent basis.
