An Introduction to Mastering Color
Join our Teleclass
Thursday, January 15, 2009, at 8:00 pm Eastern Time
The Professional Quilter is sponsoring a one-hour teleclass hosted by Morna McEver Golletz. In this lively discussion, you'll meet Maria Peagler, a modern-day renaissance quilter whose tastes range from fine art to funky traditional. Maria has been quilting for over 16 years and has won fine art awards for her quilts and is the award-winning author of eight books. Maria specializes in awakening the creative spark in quilters who doubt their own ability. She lives in the Appalachian Mountains with her husband and two sons, and in her little spare time, she enjoys watercolor painting and daily hikes in the mountains.
Maria's latest book, Color Mastery: 10 Principles for Creating Stunning Quilts, will be the focus of our January 15th teleclass where you'll learn:
- how to develop your unique color vision in a journal
- how to see color in your stash and in the quilt shop the way artists do
- how to make any color work with any other color
- where to get innovative ideas for fresh, unique color combinations
- and more...
Don't miss this opportunity on January 15 at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time.
